St. Catherine's Day occurs on November 25th and it is on this day that a festival is held with processions in honor of her. There are many guilds, churches, ships and organizations dedicated to her. She was famous for surviving torture on a spiked wheel only to be beheaded and was most popular female saint and is loved by both men and women.
